A full analysis of the Sutton Trust Report 'Educating the Highly Able' is available on the Gifted Phoenix Blog.
It concludes that the proposals contained in the Report would almost certainly reduce social mobility, because they would focus support exclusively on students identified as high attainers in end of Key Stage 2 tests.
